The restaurant experience has undergone a dramatic transformation, shifting from a beloved eatery to a vibrant nightclub. While it once boasted an enticing menu with unique burgers and diverse cocktails, patrons now find a significantly altered atmosphere and a steeply reduced menu. The new focus seems to prioritize nightlife over dining, leaving many nostalgic for the original charm. Some positives remain, such as flavorful sliders and friendly service, but issues like slow kitchen times and inconsistent dishes have arisen. This evolution has left many patrons feeling disappointed and questioning the restaurant's identity, with calls for a name change to reflect its new direction.
Visited the green dot this week when visiting lansing. the property has created a new leadership team that is infectious. they know the Lansing area well and care about all kinds of different groups of people. the bar has events planned for each night and the bar/restaurant offers something for all that come. they have darts, pool, beerpong, maisloch, inside bag, jenga, connect 4 (a large version,) seating for up to 250 plus, a newly renovated dance floor, a full bar and a restaurant that is guided by a very experienced cook and personal. they can offer catering services as well as host great events. if they are looking for something to do in lansing, this is the place to be. well done to all. some of the best times I had in a long time.
Best place you could ever find for super cheap and delicious food and drinks. You can't beat the $4 cocktails, and the mac and cheese plant-based cheeseburger have saved me from a hunger meltdown on multiple occasions. I'll never stop coming back!
Nice place to try a handful of sliders and a nice cocktail drink. Servers were great! They offer a variety of seating and can accommodate 8 nicely to a long table. Will definitely be back! *Only took a picture of the kale salad I had. Kale salad 10/10
I had a fantastic time with my girlfriends, enjoying delicious strong drinks, a friendly server (shoutout to Ryan!), and some amazing mac and cheese. However, I left with mixed feelings after trying the Corktown S'more. I’ve attached a photo of the menu for reference. To my surprise, instead of a graham cracker, it came on a slider hamburger bun, which was quite mushy and disappointing. I wish there had been a warning about the sad slider bun. Despite that, I still highly recommend this great yeehaw bar! Thank you!
Overall, the atmosphere was delightful, and everything was remarkably clean! However, the kitchen seemed a bit slow, as some of the dishes we received were either cold or overcooked. That said, the flavors were mostly enjoyable. Our server, Ryan, was fantastic—he was incredibly kind and helpful!
