Brilliant café with great service, great food, great coffee, and reasonable prices especially for the location. Plus it's one of the only places open around there early in the morning. Have healthier options as well as traditional cafe selection. View all feedback.
What Ray King dislikes about Waterloo Cafe:
I had the brunch breakfast and the sausage was cold on the inside warm on the outside. I suspect t it was cooked, frozen then chucked in a deep fat fryer to warm up. Tomatoe was a thin slice , not even half a tomato....The tea came in a filthy cup. I would not recommend this place. View all feedback.
I studied English with EF just around the corner and some friends brought me to this restaurant, which turned out to be a lifesaver for a student like me. The food is delicious, the prices are surprisingly fair, and the staff is lovely. I had either a Tricolore or a Mozarella panini almost every day for a month - they really fed me well. I brought my friends along and it became our go-to spot. The service was quick and easy, and the friendly blonde waitress always took my order with a smile. The pastel de nata dessert is a must try! I heard they also do a great English Breakfast, as I saw many people ordering it. If you're in the area, definitely give this place a try. I will miss it now that I'm away, but I know I'll be back someday. Please don't change too much - PS: I recommend the Vegetarian Panini for gloomy days and the Tricolore for sunny ones.
Lovely cafe with great food, we keep coming back! Delicious breakfasts, not too greasy, at very reasonable prices. I recommend the baps in lovely fresh rolls, that are huge! Lovely kind staff who great you with a smile. Great seats outside for sunny days! Thanks all at Waterloo cafe
Great breakfast to set you up for the day, very good value with a cuppa thrown in with the price. Will be coming back next time I'm in town.
Fantastic food and reasonable prices for London. Hidden gem. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: £1–10
Really affordable food in a very down-to-earth atmosphere serving up all the british brekkie classics. Usually a mix of locals, workers, and city centre tourists keen for a bite. Staff are attentive and helpful, the kitchen is pumping, and I appreciate the slightly haphazard atmosphere.
