Nos amis de Lunenburg nous ont recommandé la LaHave Bakery et nous avons été ravis par l'excellent lunch (salades, sandwichs, pâtisseries, cafés) et par un pain d'épeautre qui nous a tenu compagnie lors des prochains petit- déjeuners. La grande et magnifique pièce de vente, les terrasses devant et à côté de la maison sur le front de l'océan ont un charme infini. Parking assuré. Vaut largement le détour ! View all feedback.

A wonderful place to visit with a fantastic new book store located in the back of this storefront warehouse combination.
The vegetarian lunch options leave something to be desired (I've tried the hummus sandwich and an equally underwhelming panini - far too little for your $8)

We visited the bakery while also visiting a local bookstore and craft gallery--both fun in a beautiful setting along the estuary of the LeHavre River near Lunenberg and Bridgewater. The bakery was, well funky. Every time the local cable ferry landed, the place filled up as well it should. The oat cakes are to die for, the coffee is excellent as are the sandwiches. This is the kind of place you stumble into and then make sure your friends go there. The waitstaff despite being busy were always friendly and polite. The quarters are tight but on a nice day as we had you can eat on the porch, nearby picnic tables, or a dock with scenic views. And down the road is Westcote Pottery once of New Paltz near where we live. We knew their work and were delighted to see it again. The Canadian discount makes the pieces all the more appealing.
