Nestled in the heart of Lafayette, this Tex-Mex eatery offers an intriguing mix of flavors and exceptional service. Guests rave about the vibrant decor and attentive staff, often praising their skill as some of the best in town. As I mentioned, the food is exceptional, especially a special sauce that is incredibly flavorful. If you prefer to avoid the crowds, I suggest visiting on a weeknight, as it tends to get quite busy.
The food and service were excellent. I ordered the Comida Deluxe, and it arrived sooner than I anticipated. I will definitely return to take advantage of the Happy Hour specials!
The atmosphere was inviting with captivating decor. The hostess and waitstaff were friendly and attentive. They offered a refreshing alcoholic lemonade that was delightful. We enjoyed a variety of delicious dips served with handmade tortilla chips, and the entrees were hot and flavorful. There was no requirement for masks, allowing us to enjoy the experience fully with our company.
This was my first visit, and I truly enjoyed it! My wife is usually very discerning when it comes to service, but she had no complaints here—it's one of the rare places where she couldn't find anything to criticize. We did add sour cream to one of our dishes (the menu humorously encourages this, saying they won't tell anyone), but we felt that the $2 charge for it should have been clearly communicated when we ordered. Nevertheless, it was an excellent experience overall!
My friends and I chose to kick off Soup Season at this restaurant, and it certainly lived up to our expectations. The soup was packed with flavor and allowed for a lot of customization. Our waitress was prompt and attentive, offering great suggestions to add extra flavor to our soups. I also have to highlight the green sauce that came with the chips and salsa—it was fantastic! One of my friends added it to her soup, and it truly took the dish to another level!
