Was Anonym at Kinbe a mag?
An old style Susi bar, like time stoped in this place. Good food very friendly people. They have an English Menu. The sashimi was excellent. They don't use plates and serve the food on the counter (see pictures) but it is part of the show. View all feedback.
What david levy dislikes about Kinbe:
The welcome is unpleasant, but when you're hungry, you can get over it. We should have left: my wife got sick from the sushi right after, the tuna wasn't fresh! The bill is steep and the atmosphere is disastrous. We'll never come back!! Go somewhere else where Japanese hospitality and fresh fish are the order of the day, but not her!! The Japanese sushi experience you were looking for, at a reasonable price. Almost everything tasted amazing and the location itself is traditional and cool. We spent around 3000 yen per person for a good amount of sushi.
Good service, fresh sushi especially the salmon, mackerel and yellowtail. Price range is wide (50-600yen per piece) and can get steep if you order too many of the higher end stuff.
Very cool experience and great tasting sushi in an authentic setting. The chefs are super friendly. We loved watching them prepare our orders and interacting with them. Food is served by them straight to you as soon as ready
This is the best sushi place in Kyoto! I’ve been there four days in a row and was lucky to try sushi from every chef. They were sooooo delicious and the price for them is valid. Every chef there is super nice and kind, we had a nice conversation and were treated with tender care!
