After enjoying our first round of drinks in the beer garden, I went to place another order along with a few meals. It didn't take long for our lunch to be served at our table. The food we had was quite good. I highly recommend this pub, as it became quite lively with diners enjoying their meals until we finished.
After having first round of drinks sitting out in the beer garden i went to order another round and also a couple of meals. It didn't take long and lunch was delivered to our table. what a feed we had. I could not recommend the bottom pub more. and by the time we were finished the pub was full of people getting stuck into there own meals.
I just want to express my heartfelt gratitude to Bella Chris for managing my account. I really enjoyed the cold beer, but the highlight of the evening was definitely the lamb shanks. They were incredibly tender and juicy, served on a small bed of mashed potatoes with a delicious sauce drizzled over it. There was also a variety of vegetables, some cooked and some roasted, which complemented the dish perfectly. This was a delightful meal that I thoroughly enjoyed and would happily have again. Fantastic! Thank you!
Plenty of good old fashion service with a smile here.. great range of drinks and something for everybody on the lunch menu.. try the Fillet Steak with Roasted Chats and Seasonal Vegetables (Zucchini, Snow Peas, Broccoli, Pumpkin and Carrots) plus a choice of sauces/gravy.. Beautifully cooked, it was delicious.. definately going back
