We spent four nights in Kuta Lombok and ended up dining at Markisa on three of those nights—it was that good. In the Top3 for Kuta breakfast places for sure! It does come cozy and modern, but not to big when you enter on ground floor. Recommend to go up the couple of stairs to the rooftop terrace (dont worry, they have seats in the shadow too). Very chilly athmosphere- the tables, sitting bags, pool, flower, chilly music. The Long black coffee is among the very best I had in Lombok. Iced coffee and cappucino same thing. Breakfast menu is big and has choices for everybody. I had the Fruit Granola bowl and the bread with tomato and avocado- so delicious, not only because they use homemade fresh bread. For me the perfect breakfast location, basically went there every day. Staff is super friendly and helpful, very much enjoyed staying there.
