Durch die unmittelbare Nähe zum Bahnhof West & dem Hans-Böckler-Platz, ist das Lokal super zu erreichen. Die Einrichtung des Lokals ist ein wenig speziell, zumindest, was die Dekoration angeht. Es finden sich zahlreiche Darstellungen der hl. Maria in Form von Skulpturen oder Bildern. Wir waren wieder einmal zum Tatortgucken dort. Die Bedienung sind meist freundlich und aufmerksam. Man befindet sich generell, auch vom Publikum her, in einer angenehmen Atmosphäre. Das Essen ist lecker und preislich durchaus angemessen. Mein Favorit sind die Pommes!Die Getränkekarte beinhaltet eine große Auswahl an vers. hauptsächlich niederländischen Biersorten.Was unakholische Getränke angeht, befindet man sich hier in dem Trend um die Fritz-Getränke sowie z.B MischMasch. Preislich sind 2,70 Euro für eine solche Flasche dann auch angemessen. Zusammenfassend, man kann einen schönen Abend mit Freunden in einer angenehmen und ein wenig skurilen Atmosphäre für kleines Geld verbringen.
Die insgesamt positive Bewertung bleibt bestehen. Ich möchte aus Erfahrung aber noch nachtragen das im Maria Eetcafe oft geschlossene Gesellschaften stattfindenund man dann unerwartet vor verschlossener Tür steht. Auch Teil Reservierungen von Gruppen lassen anderen Kunden nur noch wenig oder keinen Sitzplatz mehr. Wir sind aber immer noch gerne dort.

Favorite bar in Belgium! Great selection of Belgian beers and delicious, thick fries. The tasting room is especially great if you want to try a variety of beers. It's also quite spacious compared to many other bars, which is quite nice. The staff were always very friendly, too. Definitely recommended!

The fries – golden brown and crispy on the outside, wonderfully soft on the inside – truly deserve the title of nobility among their peers. My companion, a discerning culinary expert, immediately declared them the best fries she 'd enjoyed in a long time – and I can only agree. The frikandels are also of excellent quality: aromatic, hearty, and prepared with love. The staff deserves special mention – rarely have we been welcomed so warmly and cared for with such genuine friendliness. The service is not only attentive, but also seems genuinely committed and passionate about what they do. The interior is designed with taste and attention to detail – an atmosphere that instantly puts you at home. It 's a place where enjoyment and comfort meet. Admittedly, the prices are above average, making it difficult to visit every day – but the quality, ambiance, and service justify every investment in this little luxury. If you 're looking to treat yourself to something special, Maria Eetcafé is the perfect choice. A true gem – for anyone who appreciates honest, lovingly prepared food in a loving atmosphere.
