We found this lovely spot while visiting the local vets to get our dog wormed for our trip back to the UK. As we went at around they were still serving the daily special menu for Euros. Our choice of carrot and...corriander soup starters followed by a Huftsteak with pepper sauce for me and a Pizza Nera for my wife washed down with a coffee and pils went down very nice on a cold November afternoon. Distinto, as the name suggests, it's an elegant restaurant that is not too expensive and is not at all snobbish. Italian cuisine from the north, very tasty, and with a nice and careful service. My favorite? Pizza with bufala e tartufo. I would kill for it.
The Italian restaurant Distinto is always a favorite of mine when visiting family in Cologne. It's great for dinners with family and friends. The food choices are very good, and so are the beverage options. The servers are also very pleasant. I will go back there in May. ...and I just did with friends from Germany and the US. Same good quality food and service. We all had a lovely meal.
A really excellent restaurant. Humorous and service-oriented service. Great menu with really well prepared dishes. Was fun. We'd love to come back to the next Gamescom
