Breadd is a well-know bakery and coffee shop right in the heart of Kingston (next to Coles Supermarket). It serves a delicious array of bakery products and very good coffee. The only down-side is its popularity with the locals and at peak times you should expect a wait before you're served. There are tables inside and outside and wheelchair access. Highly recommended. Though I would give it a go, but very disappointed in my service, that the barista was more interested chatting to other locals than making coffee, while making me wait while not doing the others in order of paying, but completing locals orders first, but on a positive note, good smooth coffee and a good temperature not too hot able to drink straight away, not coffee floured laver) but a little in weak for me. I often visit Breadd in Kingston on weekends for my morning coffee, which is consistently good and strong. I appreciate that Breadd supports local suppliers, such as sourcing their coffee roasts from Tasmania. I sometimes grab lunch from their salad bar, which offers delicious options using their own freshly made flatbread and fresh ingredients. The bread is made fresh daily, and I enjoy watching the staff busy making it. The restaurant can be a bit noisy inside, but it adds to the overall experience.
The salad rolls were excellent, the hot entrees were tasty, and the bread for takeout was a nice touch. The Mother’s Day cupcake was also delicious.
I recently ordered takeaway coffee and pastries from this restaurant. The food and coffee were delicious, the customer service was great, and the wait was short. They have a good selection of cakes, pies, and breads from their own bakery. There is plenty of seating and parking available. The prices are reasonable.
