Vendricks Restaurant offers a mixed dining experience. While some diners found the vegan options disappointing and lacking in flavor, others praised the excellent service and accommodating staff for large groups. The ambiance and décor of the restaurant received positive feedback, however, there were complaints about the quality of some dishes, with concerns raised about freshness. Despite some inconsistencies, many diners enjoyed the contemporary style and locally sourced dishes. For those looking for a perfect meal, Vendricks may not always deliver, but it seems to offer a pleasant dining experience overall.
Very, very disappointing meal. There are no vegan options currently on the menu in any course, but on booking the table a few days prior to the meal, they were advised that vegan options would be required. Despite this, the offerings available were completely basic.. bruschetta for starter (with vegan' cheese that tasted suspiciously like goat's cheese, which of course would not be vegan and a risotto for main that was literally rice and peas, with zero flavour. It's a nice looking restaurant, and the servers were friendly, but the meal was very poor. Unfortunately I would strongly recommend vegans to skip Vendricks.
Met up with a friend for a Christmas drink. Living locally we decided to het off the beaten track as town was exceptionally busy due to Christmas parade, festive weekend etc. We were welcomed by Mandy Marie, comfortably seated guuded through a very...mouth watering menu. We decided on a variety of tapas were not disappointed. Thank ye girls, my friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Delicuous food, fabulous atmosphere, delightful staff, what more could we ask for?? Spicy meatballs were yum!!! Calamari exceptional... yes there was more... See ye soon.
Not one for usually reviewing but this was THE best restaurant find in Killarney. I cannot say enough. Beautiful decor and absolutely fantastic menu. It was a quiet wet Sunday night, the girls are just brilliant, absolute tonics in fact. They made the place!!!...Food was sumptuous. I would drive the hours to Killarney again just to eat here. Honestly cannot recommend Vendricks enough. Everyone should try the Calamari and the pork belly. Sincere thanks to the girls who MADE our night
Vendricks Restaurant, as usual, was absolutely superb. The decor inside the restaurant is top-class — very elegant and beautifully designed, and the festive Christmas decorations added a really warm, inviting touch that really enhanced our experience. The menu offers some lovely options, and I ordered the stuffed mushroom with goat’s cheese, which couldn’t have been any nicer. The presentation of the food was just amazing. My brother ordered the beef burger, and he said his meal was also 10/10. The staff are all extremely helpful and accommodating. I would most definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a really good meal in Killarney. You certainly won’t be disappointed, and I definitely hope to return again soon.
Great menu with some really tasty dishes. Great value on their early bird menu too. Will definitely go again.
