Food was grand service was okay. But it had a nice atmosphere. Mains were nice but the desserts were the main thing that were a let down .Overall was decent
That was a long experience: when we came to the Colgans, it was said that no more was free. But that is not a problem, the waiter said, right next door there is another place with the same menu and the same prices, we should follow him. And so we ran through a walk and several halls and were finally placed in the chic dining room de Yew Tree restaurants. As it turned out later, this is all part of the hotel complex Muckridge-House. Hamburger, Fish Chips and Irish Grillhähnchen were good, the service initially eager, later somewhat negligent. Overall we were satisfied.
Best pub/hotel staff in Killarney..super helpful...no attitudes...lovely people great food..bit dont tell anyone...we want a table again soon!
After a long day exploring the Ring of Kerry, we had a great dinner at Colgan’s during our stay at the Muckross Park Hotel. The Guinness beef stew, pan roasted Atlantic salmon, apple crumble tart were all fantastic!
One of the better pub experiences, excellent service, the food was hit or miss. I love their apple crumble dessert a lot! The rib eye at medium was too chewy.
