Great spot by the water! The restaurant features a spacious bar area and dining space. I tried the pretzel, which was warm, buttery, and perfectly salty, accompanied by a delicious warm cheese dip and mustard. It’s massive! Don't miss out on trying one of their two fresh and incredibly tasty lobster rolls, each prepared in its own unique style. View all feedback.
What Austin Bell dislikes about F:
No one seems willing to take responsibility. The owner, Mark, wants to blame their supplier. I was informed that the chowder is outsourced and simply heated up, but I am now facing the loss of my tooth due to this piece of glass in my food, along with a $3,200 dental bill that I can't afford. We were at a gathering here to have brunch with work friends. Great atmosphere on the water,good food,with attentive staff.
Went there at 5:30 on Friday to avoid crowds and were pleasantly surprised with the speed, courtesy and food in every way. Short ribs were tender and the baked cod was perfect and plentiful. Caesar salad and wedge salad as well as littenecks in broth and stuffies for our appetizers were all just delicious. Our waitperson Sydney was professional and friendly, making the whole experience very satisfying. It was an overall 84th birthday success.
It was nice. There seemed to be a lot of childhood friends reuniting at a local bar during winter break from college. And it started to snow. And the waitress was super nice and attentive. And there was a band that seemed to be sort of related to the reuniting friends. Pretty darn pleasant.
Flew into Providence on 12/24/23. We had a burning desire for cakes and chowder. We found Finns online and called ahead. The clam cakes were great! We plan to visit again. love the picture of Belichick at the bar!
