great place, without reservation, place was packed what I always think is a good sign, and they found us a table. the food was great, the carving was huge and very tasty. great atmosphere and service. View all feedback.

Lohmann is an institution in Kassel. The beer garden is legendary. In the past they served honest decent food along with the outstanding beer. Not last night. The daily special was garlicky but lacked refinement. To try a sure bet I ordered Bratwurst and fries....Equally disappointing. They’re running out of steam or I picked a bad day. View all feedback.
Last Sunday we were here on the way to dinner. The food was great. Especially to name the Lohmann-Steak and the apparently homemade pommes.

Classic beer garden in a slightly flicked location near the Kassel city centre. The food was quite good (jagerschnitzel beautiful and crispy, mushroom engraving...
Very good food and service. There is also a beautiful garden to sit. We both had the carving and they were huge! They have several long benches to accommodate larger parties and by appearance, they would probably do a good job. Very recommended.
