I’ve been visiting this bar since 2008, and although it has seen many changes in ownership over the years, it remains a top spot to enjoy a Nile Special, whether from the bar itself or while cruising on the Nile in a multiboot. I always make it a point to spend an afternoon here before heading back to Britain, taking the time to watch the Kingfishers dive. Nowadays, the music can be a bit loud, but the staff is more than willing to turn it down if you ask. It's essential to consider the needs of the patrons who support the place! If you find yourself in Jinja, don’t miss out on this gem; there aren’t many places like it in the world.
The view of the Nile was fantastic, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting, giving off a lovely homey feel. We visited during sunset, but it might feel a bit too local for foreigners in the evening.
Almost always "The place to go. Many plains with bars to reach the beach bar on the Nile (although the river levels are currently somewhat high). The only place on a Sunday and can celebrate here until the sun rises. Security here is a priority for administration so a good place for tourists / ex-Pats. Although in the night time reliable transportation and not the waiting Boda Boda please use.
It's really a wonderful place to relax, and a very good evening spot for happenings, wow Thursday was a karaoke night I really had a very ambient evening thanks to the dj who gives anyone willing to vibrate his/ her vocal codes, accompanied with various projections of the lyrics. It's a really a great place
