Future - Jersey City
Future
Description
Nestled in the neighborhood, this restaurant offers a diverse range of Chinese cuisine that keeps patrons coming back. While many rave about the freshness and flavor of dishes like General Tso shrimp and Mei Fun noodles, others have encountered inconsistencies in quality, such as soggy shrimp and old orange chicken. Service has been a point of contention, with reports of rude staff, although some note improvements over time. While the food quality and vegetarian options often shine, the establishment’s customer service remains a mixed experience. Nevertheless, it’s worth a visit for those seeking local takeout.

Was E Red at Future a mag?
The food at this restaurant is always delicious! I ordered the General Tso shrimp and my boyfriend had the shrimp Mei Fun noodles. We are regulars here because the food is always fresh and incredibly tasty. We also ordered the crab Rangoon, but it was so good that we couldn't resist eating it before taking a picture. Definitely worth checking out! View all feedback.
What Sanzida Kay dislikes about Future:
Very rude people who work there and Delivery man has a terrible attitude and greedy. I don’t eat pork and asked for only vegetable lo mein and I found a piece of pork in it and a hair in my food. I also called to let them know they didn’t add sauces to my order and they kept hanging up on me and calling me a liar. I will never order here ever again and I highly recommend from not ordering from this place at all, food... View all feedback.

This place has the best Chinese takeout in the neighborhood. The fried rice and sesame chicken were delicious, and the dumplings were perfect. Don't mind the rudeness, it just means the food is authentic.
I have decided to forgive the past and resume dining at this restaurant. The staff is much friendlier now and the food is very good. I am pleased with the changes that have been made.

This spot has been around forever! In a city with hundreds of Chinese food spots, this is one of my favorites. I love the house special fried rice with a side of sliced roast pork! Every time I get a craving for Chinese food, I have to hit up this spot. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Price per person: $1–10
