Situated in a charming Vermont location, JT Restaurant boasts a rustic interior and a lively atmosphere. However, recent visits have exposed some shortcomings, particularly in food quality and service. Diners have reported inconsistencies in portion sizes, notably the minimalist Rueben sandwich, and a limited menu on special occasions. Despite the overall noise level making conversations difficult, the brunch offerings and community vibe remain appealing. While some guests enjoy highly-rated home fries and unique ingredient combinations, others lament the need for improved service and menu variety. Overall, JT presents an intriguing but uneven dining experience.
A good friend treated me to lunch at Jericho Cafe Tavern for my birthday. It was a lovely July day so we opted to dine outside on their porch. I am Gluten-Free and had no problem finding tasty options. The scallops were delicious as were the truffle fries! Had no room for dessert but they do offer a delicious sounding Salted Caramel Flourless Bar. Maybe I will have room for dessert next time, as I definitely will go again!
Great staff, drink was always full when eating here. Will be back again soon.

I make it a point to visit Jericho Cafe whenever I am in the area. I have dined there for both lunch and dinner and have always enjoyed the classic American cuisine. The meatloaf is particularly delicious and not something I typically have at home, but it is worth trying at Jericho Cafe. They have a great selection of local brews, a nice wine list, and some special mixed drinks for those interested. The Beef on Weck is a satisfying choice for lunch, as it is very tender. They also offer desserts and takeout options. When you arrive, you have a few seating choices. For smaller groups, I recommend sitting in the tavern or on the porch outside. The larger dining room is better suited for bigger parties, but it can get noisy in there.
One of our favorite spots! We went for our wedding anniversary during brunch. The only downside to the experience they had the music too low and you could hear one person talking the whole time even though we weren’t directly beside their table. I should have asked them to turn up the music. Other than that highly recommend!
