Sorry, but I wasn’t impressed. This may have been the worst sushi I’ve ever had... not fresh at all. The place is dusty and overcrowded with decorations. It’s just a basic izakaya, but appeals to foreigners because they have an English menu. The couple who own the place are lovely but I would not come here again. Best food ever! Very unique, fun place with authentic food and great prices, considering the amount you receive in return. I can only recommend it for visitors, especially as it is an English menu.
Friendly service, great food, local vibe, affordable prices, English menu, and 2 steps away from the hostel. It's got everything. Highly recommended.

The best secret of Itō. Here you can get the local delicacies at half a price for which the tourist places are sold at the station. The shop owners seem to be an older man and his wife. You have little scrap paper you can sketch and post somewhere in the restaurant. There are some really cool sketches around!
