We had a fantastic experience! Our group of around 15 made an online reservation, and we were really pleased with the room assigned to us. The service was outstanding, and the club and restaurant were lovely environments. I would definitely return! View all feedback.
What JohnH dislikes about The Point Grill:
We visited the restaurant for Thanksgiving brunch and, as always, enjoyed both the food and the service. However, the price was quite steep. After adding in the cost of drinks (coffee and tea), taxes, and a surcharge, I ended up spending over $60 for a turkey dinner! That’s more like the price of high-end steak. Beautiful place (inside out) great food, phenomenal service and bar staff!! Had an amazing time there!!
Paul had the shrimp cocktail special. He said that the shrimp tasted like they weren't cooked enough prior to being chilled. We both shared the chicken tenders and chips and we thoroughly loved them.
The club sponsored Oyster ? Night was once again a hit. I tried steamed oysters for the first time and they were delish. My husband had his standard Point Burger with fries. Everything was wonderful
Breakfast with Santa event was well received by the children and adults in our group. The food was good, the crafts for the children were outstanding and the Christmas decorations were beautiful!
Swan Point is a nice option in our area, and the food is generally good. That being said, the food service continues to disappoint. We booked a table for ten, the table was set up for 9, some of the main dishes arrived before the soup had been served, my entree arrived 10 to 15 minutes before my husband's. These types of errors with food service have been ongoing and continue despite having a new chef, the kitchen staff doesn't seem to have their act together.
