came here for the new year package and had a wonderful time! all dressed the nine, a fantastic band, dinner and drinks oh I can't explain how beautiful a night was! we were recommended for the weekend in a king room with a jacuzzi (hiiiiighllyyyy.) north conway to the curve with many shops, many other places to try to eat, although we usually eat in the inn with dinner and breakfast part of our package. and forget no... I had the worst dinner in the wentworth in jackson, no, but let me be specific: it had nothing to do with the service at all. the food also tasted delicious, but (schema on but) the portions and the prices were absolutely ridiculous. and before they say, oh, this guy has just never eaten in a chic restaurant before I stop them there and say they are 100% wrong. my intention was to bring my wife into a chic restaurant... My wife and I will stay at the Wentworth to celebrate our anniversary. We usually have a great experience. This particular visit was a little different. It 's the beginning of foliage season so of course the rooms are expensive, to be expected and usually worth it. We get to our room and there are stains on the wall and the bathroom tile floor is scratched up. Room looks outdated and dirty. The hot tub doesn 't function great, as far as the jets controls, they won 't shut off and will randomly toggle between the 2 speed settings. It was a warm humid fall day so the room was very warm, 78° F, but no temperature control. Opening the window gave very little relief, but you heard the outside noise through the night which made sleeping difficult. To add insult to injury one of the adjacent rooms had guest who smoked a lot of marijuana, so my wife and I had to deal with a constant skunk smell. The dinner was amazing, although the waiter did forget to mention a special. Breakfast was decent, eggs were bland and tasted fake which is okay, but the service there was great and the other foods were good. My wife and I had a good time, but will consider a different Northern NH location next anniversary. We also just got back from a stay at a Homewood Suites in Teaneck, NJ which was a lot cheaper and the room was immaculate but, the Wentworth is supposed to be special, it 's supposed to stand out. And when the Wentworth sent the link for a survey and review, they asked for an internal complaint first so they can make it right their words...it 's been over a week and I haven 't had a response. You 'll enjoy your time, but it seems the care they used to put in to the rooms and service just are not what they used to be. Our opinion, so take it for what it is worth. Very nice Inn. Delicious breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Awesome bugers. Quaint area in Jackson NH. Definitely reccomend staying there.
Our third visit to The Wentworth. We love the hot tub in the room, so much fun. But what is really special is the hotel's restaurant. Simply amazing food. The Korean bbq short ribs are just the best, really love them. The service is wonderful, also.The hotel was recently purchased by another company and it is apparent that they are keeping the high level of hospitality.
