Today, they were out of the regular jerky, which is my 4-year-old's favorite. When I asked about it, the gentleman suggested we try the sweet and mild variety instead. We were happy to give it a go, and he found a small package, opened it up, and offered my son a sample. He loved it and finished the entire bag in just half an hour! My husband and I own a summer cottage at Green Lake, and we love to support local businesses. We are thrilled to have such a fantastic place nearby! Roger and his family put in a tremendous amount of effort and offer excellent meat and deli items (you absolutely must try their chicken salad) and their broasted chicken is fantastic! And the pizzas? Wow!!! Thank you, Mikowski family, for everything you do!
We had some venison processed at this place, and I must say, I’m not usually a fan of venison burgers. However, Rodger has an exceptional blend that we decided to try, and I couldn’t believe it—it's so delicious that you can't even tell it's venison. It’s not gamey at all! The owners are incredibly friendly and accommodating. We’ll definitely be coming back here from now on.
Stopped in twice this evening for the prime rib special dynamite and great priced!!!
