Kitchen 292 is a cozy, unpretentious spot serving southern-tinged comfort food—standouts include hand-cut fries, fried green tomatoes, corn nuggets and a sought-after house BBQ sauce. Service is warm and attentive, and the roomy dining area and large gravel parking lot (with handicap access) make it an easy lunch choice for families and coworkers. Quality can be uneven—some entrees arrive dry and cleanliness has been inconsistent—but moderate prices and regularly excellent dishes keep locals returning.
This was our first time, I saw a guy, who I think was the owner go to the table next to ours and speak to a couple, it would have been nice if he came over to our table and spoke to make people feel welcome. They were not very busy on Wednesday at 6pm when we went. The burgers looked amazing, but the meat really did not have any flavor, as we had 3 grandmothers and me : , they all said the same about the taste of the meat. The one who got the Rubin sandwich said it was great. If we lived closer we may try again, but we are doing the Spartanburger trail through out the county is the reason we tried them out.
Delicious food. Off the chain burgers of all kind. They now offer beer for those that may want it. The onion stacks are the best I have eaten around!
This place has absolutely amazing food. All of their entrées I have tried have fantastic flavor. It's like each one has their own signature taste. The food seems to be made when you order and has always been fresh. It is one of the few places where thefood is actually really good and not just edible. The atmosphere is very nice. It's cozy but spacious. The bathrooms are clean.Rob, Kaitlyn, and the rest of the staff have always been very welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended.
Wife I came in 10/29/22, it was great! There was a bit of a wait, BUT it was busy they only had 1 server working. Beth was absolutely great busted her tail making sure every table got what they needed!! She kept a great attitude the whole time even asked if we wanted to answer a Halloween question for a brownie. This lady had every right to just make sure tables gotfood drinks, but she was above beyond!! Everyone in the kitchen did an amazing job getting food out it tasted great!!Unfortunately didn't get to try the loaded tots since they were out, but it's all good because we'll definitely be back!! Love hole-in-the-wall places like this!
