An amazing experience! Having been treated poorly at Cafe Verona we hastily made a call to Vivilore. Mary got us in and was the perfect host and our wonderful server Megan was delightful.The food was excellent and when some people were being very loud in the bar, Mary gave us a complimentary desert.All in all a 10 star evening. Staff was eating in service areas, sitting down and sharing personalmlide grief. It's not the kind of place or price point I would expect such sloppy service. The restrooms and doors have need for adjustments and are difficult to open and I would not recommend for those with navigational issues with mobility aids you couldn't get any doors open.The menus were dirty and there was dirty glassware and plates on a tables... This is normally one of my favorite places in the area. I was so disappointed this go around. Our waitress seemed to only address my spouse for some reason, even when I spoke to her. Oh well, it happens. We ordered the bread service and it never came. The food was cooked well but had no seasoning, specifically the vegetables and twice baked potatoes. Not even salt and pepper. Poking through the veggies I found hair that did not belong to me. We had a lot of leftovers that we declined to take. We were looking forward to dessert but after all of that we just paid and left. Sad to see this place isn’t what it used to be.
This is truly a hidden Kansas City gem. I had the best customer service I've ever had. Our server was amazing.I ordered an appetizer, an entree, and dessert, and everything was simply stellar. I don't know if this is my favorite dining experience in my hometown, but it is definitely top three. Incredible.
I stopped by to grab a gift for a client. I met the staff owner. I don't know which was most impressive--the food, the store or the staff/owner. It will be my go to restaurant this year. I feel like the owner and staff members I met are my new best friends. Loved everything about my experience there!
