**Restaurant Review: A Mixed Bag Experience** In a vibrant speakeasy setting, this restaurant offers a blend of delightful ambiance and creative cocktails but suffers from inconsistent service and food quality. While some patrons rave about the expertly crafted drinks and well-presented dishes, others report long waits and disorganization among the staff. The culinary highlights include savory appetizers and hearty mains, though certain items like the burrata garlic bread leave much to be desired. Overall, while the atmosphere and drinks are noteworthy, the dining experience can be marred by service issues, leading to a divided opinion on whether to return.
Absolutely fantastic! The food was beautifully prepared and presented, and it was incredibly delicious! The ambiance is impressive as well; the speakeasy feels uniquely tucked away from the crowd, and the drinks are equally strong! However, the highlight of the experience was definitely the staff. The bartenders and servers were not only knowledgeable and friendly, but they were also incredibly helpful when it came to recommendations and even creating custom cocktails. A special shoutout to Josh for the amazing scotch drink he crafted called the Volcanic Manor, as well as the outstanding version of a Penicillin!
This was such a cool experience. The entry was mysterious, although I really wish the host peaked out the window like in the YouTube video I watched of the place. Found out later the host was actually not a regular employee of the place, so understandable. Our waitress was so attentive and pleasant! She was so on top of clearing our table, offering more drinks, refilling our water, and just being kind in the rush of things. The drinks were so cool and enjoyable..although I only got the ice cream based drink (the grass hopper, I think it was called). Totally recommend! It's sweet, but you can still taste a hint of the whiskey. Moving on to the food: got the pierogi as an appetizer (my furst time, so it was unoque but tasty with the sauce and caramelized onions), the Dan Dan noodles and something with sausage tortellini and broccoli (forgot the name), and the only thing I'd complain about is the Dan Dan noodles..there was just too much noodles and not enough flavor..I watched a video that said how amazing it was so I was excited and then quickly disappointed in the lack of flavor. Other than that, would go again even with the cost. For 2 people, 3 drinks..1 appetizer..2 entrees..and food left over ro takw home, we spent about 100, so a bit pricey if you go everyday, but not a bad total for a special occassion. Overall, this hidden gem should definitely be a stop if you are in Hudson!
My favorite place for date night. Staff is so welcoming and knowledgeable. Cocktails are second to none, creative and expertly executed. Food is delicious, always incredibly satisfying! Brad, Lindsay, Isabelle, Luke and Alan are amazing people serving up a fantastic, unique experience!

Waitress never put our dinner in. We noticed the cooks taking shots and cleaning the stove before we were like…. ??? Where’s our food ? My guest and I ordered the same meal. Once she actually put it in for us she only put in one. She also didn’t saysorry about it or anything, just made me a stiffer drink. Thanks I guess…. Esthetic is very cool. Speak easy is a nice touchbut I’m from Boston and have dinned at some decent places and the service here isn’t good. Host isn’t super helpful, andthe wait staff seems more occupied with each other than the guests. Won’t be back.
