I'll try all Afghans in Houston, Dallas and San Antonio. That was the best. Quality and prices. We tried Mantoo and Bolaani it was great and then we had Qabuli pallow and Karaie. I liked this place. View all feedback.
I ordered items #2, #6, and #15. The soup had a great kick to it, reminiscent of spicy chicken soup, and dish #15 was outstanding. The prices were quite reasonable considering the generous portion sizes. The restaurant has an upscale vibe, even though the meals are only $10, and the staff was very accommodating. It's a fantastic place, and I would definitely return!
Background: I dined there with my wife and three children on a Saturday evening. It was bustling due to a wedding reception, which seemed to overwhelm the staff, but they handled it well. We opted for the buffet to sample various dishes, but it wasn't fully stocked because of the wedding celebration. However, the manager, Mr. Mohammad, was incredibly accommodating and offered us the option to order from the menu since the buffet wasn't up to standard. This thoughtful gesture really highlighted the great service we received. I could see us bringing more family friends here in the future. The restaurant itself is very clean and has a trendy atmosphere with a lovely seating area. The prices are fantastic—$11.99 for adults and $7.99 for children on the dinner buffet. Most dinner entrées on the menu are priced under $10. The food was outstanding! The lamb karahi was excellent, and the qabuli pallow, sultani chapli kebab, and spinach were all delicious. The serving sizes were generous, and the quality of the food was impressive. The friendly service from the manager added to the positive experience. On the downside, while the buffet included a mix of Afghan and Pakistani dishes, the menu features authentic Afghan cuisine. My family typically doesn't enjoy spicy foods, so the buffet wasn't the best option for us, given the limited selection. I hope they can enhance the buffet offerings or focus solely on Afghan dishes. I wouldn’t mind paying a higher price for a more extensive selection of authentic options. During my next visit, I plan to order from the menu to enjoy the true flavors of Afghan cuisine and will definitely try the Burani Banjan eggplant appetizer.
My wife and I visited this restaurant for Valentine’s Day, and we've discovered a new favorite that we will definitely return to. We started with appetizer #2, which was bread served with a yogurt sauce and a tangy, mildly spicy pico de gallo—it was absolutely delicious. My wife ordered the lamb dish (#7) and found it to be excellent, while I had the roasted goat (#12), which was also very tasty. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for something delicious to satisfy your hunger without being greasy.

Wonderful food. The lamb war perfectly cooked and the chicken marination was flawless. Wish it was closer to my place, would've been there everyday!!
