Maybe our meal was the exception to all of the bad reviews, but our food was great. The king cheeseburger was cooked as requested and certain garnishes left off as asked. What Fairy Fauna dislikes about Bawk- Bawk:
My Greek salad was served with Thousand Island dressing instead of Greek, Italian, or even oil and vinegar. When we called to inquire, they stated they don’t carry Greek dressing (so why is it on the menu?). We had to wait 45 minutes for the proper dressing to be brought, so we decided to add an order of fries. They charged us $4 for the fries while we were waiting for our food, which was getting cold. Super friendly staff. Food was great. The grilled cat fish, volcano fries, the burger which had pure beef were all 10/10.
The chicken is good. Thighs and legs is what I ordered. The wings are good too. My wife and I like the hours and will be back.
Horrible service please don’t waste your money here, the food is not your money worth. The customer service is horrible, the manager was disrespectful. They did not want to give a refund. Order a Shrimp Po Boy. Everything but the shrimps. 3 shrimps on a big bun please see the picture. I repeat don’t waste your money there.
After getting a brochure left on my hotel, we decided to give them a try. Even after checking previous reviews we placed an order by phone. First of all they were out of my first three choices, the food was lousy and not complete. Service was lacking. My advice don’t take a chance it might be okay.
