There was a bit of a wait for the food since there was only one person working in the kitchen, but once it arrived, everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. The portions were generous, and the chips were particularly tasty. The service was friendly, but this isn’t the kind of place for a quick meal.
The food here is not just delicious, but the entire staff is friendly and cheerful as well. They truly go above and beyond with their menu options! This will definitely be my go-to restaurant in Hornsby!

Award for best (paper) napkins goes to.... Drum roll... Rustic Plate. Also, their food was excellent and service was happy and efficient. Potato Beef Bravos was my favourite pick, but all was tasty. Coffee also quite good.
The Mall at Hornsby is growing gradually into quite the foodie hub and the addition of Rustic Plate is certainly welcome. It's a deceptively big place with an indoor area as well as an al fresco area out the front which is still covered and sheltered. We chose a plate of dips and olives served with freshly baked pita bread. It was delicious.
