Excellent restaurant on the water in Hope, ID right on Lake Ponde Orielle! Fresh, savory food, excellent cocktail and dessert menus as well! Everything is specifically tailored from the local, sustainable farms. Can't wait to go back and especiallyduring sunset! ????????
Overall, our meal was fresh and delicious. The only issue I had was that my soda tasted watered down and unpleasant. The service was good, and the location had a unique vibe, reminiscent of dining on a docked ship with a gentle sway in the restaurant.
Delicious spicy Shrimp Tacos with a flavorful cole slaw and bean salad. Everything was so fresh and well prepared. Love the outdoor seating with a view and the interior is so cute. I recommend this place as a must for having lunch!
The ambiance is much better than the food. You can tell it was a restaurant that Used to be good, but now relies heavily on precooked food and warmers. We ordered the shrimp and bread appetizers. The bread was very basic rolls (reheated from frozen)and the shrimp were over cooked and tiny. The sauce that the shrimp came in however was delicious! I ordered the chicken maindish and my husband had a fish special. My chicken breast had obviously been cooked the day before, if not Days earlier and wastough and gummy at the same time. The highlight was the smoked onion dressing on my dinner salad. The greens were wilted and afew seconds from being beyond their prime, but I was really regretting not ordering the dinner salad with the smoked oniondressing, as I think I would have enjoyed that more. The kids meals were delicious and no complaints there.
Overall our meal was fresh and delicious. Only complaint was my soda was diluted and bad taste. Service was good, location is like dining on a docked ship with a slight movement in the restaurant.
