Had a thoroughly enjoyable Friday night dinner with visiting friends. Atmosphere and service friendly, relaxed but not sloppy. All dishes were excellent. Shared the salmon with a touch of miso and the best calamari in town for entree, then shared four mains: duck confit, pork belly, mushroom risotto and lamb ragout. All very tasty and interesting dishes with an extra twist. View all feedback.
Having experienced wonderful food at Ginger Browns's it was a safe bet that Miss jane would be just as good being run by the same owner. We were not disappointed and the antipasto was excellent, likewise the mushroom risotto. Amazing transformation to the restaurant. Service was great too.
The service at miss Jane was friendly and attentive. As the restaurant is not huge it was also not noisy so it was quite a pleasant environment for a meal. The food was tasty and what we had was exactly as described on the menu. The wine list isn't huge but was a reasonable match for the food
I visited this restaurant as part of a birthday dinner and I was not disappointed. The food was of a high standard and I could have not been more pleased. I ordered the one pizzas in it was delicious and cooked to perfection. The service was of equal quality and I will be sure to be back again.
Hobart has a great dining scene with many interesting restaurants decided to give Franklin a try based on some positive Yelp reviews.
