This is a great, relaxed local BBQ spot with friendly staff and the best French fries you'll ever have! They serve fresh, hand-cut potatoes that are deep-fried and perfectly salted. View all feedback.
What Nancy Curtis dislikes about Briar Patch B Que:
The quality of food at Briar Patch has declined. Last week, I ordered a Hickory Salad, and by the time I got it home, the lettuce was so soggy that it became a watery mess. Yesterday, I tried the Pork Chop Dinner with a baked potato and a salad. While the dinner had potential to be delicious, the lettuce was so wilted and brown that I had to throw most of it away. I stopped by the drive-thru towards the end of the day and was pleasantly surprised by the quick service and delicious food. The fries were

Yesterday, I tried the Pork Chop Dinner with a baked potato and a salad. While the dinner had potential to be delicious, the lettuce was so wilted and brown that I had to throw most of it away. Whatever happened to the high-quality food we used to enjoy? I understand that food prices have risen, but if it's inedible, it's not worth spending any amount on.
Potato salad tasted like egg salad and the mac n cheese tasted like the pasta was boiled in tea. Low quality cafeteria food at best. Service was decent
Food was ok. No menus or descriptions of the food and when you ask, the cashier is not very helpful. So best to look at the online menu before going. Didn't ask which meat I wanted, since my salad order offered a choice of beef or pork and the order board didn't show descriptions. They just gave me pork, which was shredded very, very fine to the consistency of canned tuna and was dry. Used an entire container of ranch and bbq sauce. My husband's burger was ok. Cole slaw was good, fries were small, but ok. Our first time there, we might try again, but we were a little disappointed. Restaurant was clean.
My family and I have not been here in a year so we thought we would give it another try tonight, big mistake! Got to the register and the person behind the register didn’t greet us at all, just stood there with a blank stare, no hello, what can I get for you, nothing. Most of the tables are filthy, no baked potatoes. It’s just sad ?. We should’ve just went to Taco Bell. We will not be returning.
