Amazing service! John was a delight and took such great care of us! The food was also so good, everything came out super hot and flavorful. Steaks were made to perfection and the makes potatoes were to die for! Ambiance was very chill, laid back but to could still get dressed up and have a date night. Plenty of parking in the Derby shoppe area and even a great scene for walking around and getting some dessert.
Had an absolutely wonderful brunch this morning. Loved the unique funky decor and light fixtures, food portions were huge and had some unique flare, and our waiter was wonderful. For brunch you can't go wrong with what you order- you want traditional french toast with fresh fruit- well it's delicious big enough to share. Want something outside the box- well today's special was lobster omelette. I got the avocado eggs Benedict which had an insane amount of avocado and a very light hollandaise sauce (finally a chef that doesnt make a greasy lemon glaze! I would have preferred an english muffin over a thick slice of their fresh bread just cuz it was hard to get all the ingredients of the dish in one bite (and I wish the bread was warm , but those are such minor critiques. If I was local I'd love to enjoy the bar here (omg strawberries soaked in vodka- yes please!
Rustic Kitchen is one of our favorite restaurants to frequent on the South Shore. Located at the Derby Street Shops in Hingham, this gem is always fantastic! Plenty of parking, always crowded; I would highly recommend that you telephone a reservation to ensure a table. The staff is great, wonderful and attentive. After being seated, you are given artisan breads with a warm white bean and oil dip. You could make a meal of that alone! I've been there about a dozen or more times and usually get one of two of their signature dishes: beef medallion stroganoff or the pasta with artichoke hearts and chicken. Both are very well prepared and plated. Fully stocked bar, and the after dinner coffee is quite delicious. No negatives whatsoever.
Very sheik ambiance and an amazon menu. We ordered the buffalo cauliflower and an app and it was the best version of this dish I've ever had, and I have had a few. I had the handmade gnocchi pasta with sausage and broccolini. Absolutely amazing. 4 stars only for me due to a poor beer selection and all draft beers being unavailable for the evening. The food was five stars.
Tonight's meal was perfect! Enjoyed a great meal outside on the patio. I enjoyed the Roasted Mustard Crusted Salmon, that was served with a potato cake and sautéed spinach. There was also a very good sauce on the plate that added a nice taste. I've never had a potato cake, but it worked very well with the sauce. My companion had the Swordfish special that was more than an inch think, I'm not a fan but they throughly enjoyed it. The basket of bread with the bean dip is also a favorite. Always have a good meal here will definitely be back!!
