At this Bojangles location, diners are met with a disappointing array of culinary mishaps. Many report overcooked food, with items like biscuits resembling hockey pucks and causing stomach issues shortly after consumption. While the chicken garners some praise, sides such as mashed potatoes and gravy fall flat. Customer service is hit or miss; some staff are friendly, but management has drawn criticism for poor attitudes. Occasional lapses in attention to detail, like incorrect orders, add to the frustration. Unless substantial improvements are made, many will likely consider this location a last resort.
The staff is what makes this a good fast food restaurant, I have always had courteous and reasonably fresh food for a fast food restaurant.
Jerry, the manager, was very unpleasant and had a bad attitude. I visited the drive-thru at 2:50 p.m. on Friday, September 16th, 2022, and asked for fresh fries, but he just gave me a blank stare. If he doesn’t like his job, he should find another one. Everyone else was friendly, but as a manager, he really needs to improve his attitude. I wouldn’t recommend this location and think it should be shut down.
After trying the spicy deluxe at Bojangles, I quickly became ill and have felt unwell ever since. Writing this review the following day, I can't help but question whether the restaurant maintains high sanitation standards. I’ll be cautious with the rest of the menu in the future.
The service was good, but unfortunately, the food did not meet my expectations. The chicken was decent, but the mashed potatoes and gravy were quite disappointing. Initially, I thought I was getting sausage gravy, but it turned out to be something more akin to scrapple gravy. The green beans were acceptable, and the fries were enjoyable thanks to the seasoning salt. However, I don't think I'll be returning; the food simply didn't deliver.
