We found this bar on a wet, cold December afternoon when we needed to dry off and relax (as did our two doggies) The friendly staff found us a nice table where we all could relax and not bother any of the other customers, but...still enjoy the atmosphere. PS the smoked olives where dreamy! View all feedback.
Really interesting decor in the pub, the section of drinks was incredible! Not only a very large local collection but also cocktails.
We had a very nice drink here before a meal and enjoyed the relaxed ambience and interesting building. The beers were had were first rate and the covid restrictions sensibly applied, without being too restrictive.
Beautiful, small pub with an excellent selection of craftsmen, staff were very friendly and prices were appropriate. they have a few big tables and some other seats, but it seemed as if they had benefited from smaller tables. we did not look awfully busy on Saturday night.
I love this place! The wide variety of gins and beers, along with the excellent service from the staff, make for a great customer experience. The bar is both beautiful and cozy, making it a regular spot for me and my friends.
Where to start: brilliant personal, incredibly tasty eating, stunning drinks menu! have they been every night of vacation in our week, as it is clearly the best place in buxton!
