Was there last night after a long time. It must be said that some well-known have betrayed me because the portions are very small...now my conclusion: have not yet received such a giant carving in any snack in Herne and surroundings,Pommes were delicious and also absolutely sufficient. Speckmanns wakes childhood memories. Every weekend I am with my grandparents to Speckmanns and there were fish frescoes with Pommes Mayo and H Milk... I loved it so much... Later I fell to the hamburger, then the Currywurst Pommes and later the baked fish. I haven't been there for years. Life had come in between, although I have not lived so far. Speckmanns has changed externally, but the sense of income has not changed, but what is even more important is not taste and quality. One of the friendly ladies could even remember me. I was not nearly 20 years there!!!!!!!!!!!! If that's not for Speckmanns? Work employees working there for more than 20 years or longer? In any case, I had baked Pommes, and my husband had a gypsy carving plate and as a dessert had another sniper. We're excited. The price/performance ratio is great and I'm hungry again. At the same time, baconmen, the friteuse already makes:
Pure disappointment. I ordered 2 servings of gros with onions. Then the nice lady went back and came back with 2 plastic bowls with probably frozen pork. Then she pushed the two bowls into the microwave for a few minutes. Then she put the pig on the rod until it was through and it snapped. When I opened the pack at home, I already had an acidic muffy smell. The meat then tasted like that. I'm back to the snack with things and I have my money back without institutions. Never again!
Apparently the ghosts are divorced here, so if you read the other reviews, all have to try locally. I think I was with Speckmann as a child, but they hadn't built this pretty little hut yet and I have no memories of it. After that it remained for many years only with We must go to Speckmann! But somehow it never happened. But at some point everything became good that we were close, hungry, everything was right! So said, done, we chose burgers and baked fish, and both were very delicious! The baked fish is freshly prepared, there was another sauce, as you choose, which are also made all. The burger was not to compare with those in the many new, rather expensive burgers buds, but for a snack first cream. The ladies behind the counter had much to do, but they still remained friendly when we first stopped the traffic and stared at the offer with open mouth. The selection is very impressive for this little snack, I find: Grill Chicken, Spare Ribs, Schaschlik, Schnitzel, Gyros, Frikadellen, Brat /Currywurst, Rubekuchen, various salads and and and. Despite the immense operation, everything was clean, and the toilets were also tipped. Unfortunately, there are few seats at the right tables that are fought hard. We had no luck and had to sit on bar stools, but that was also amazingly convenient. So there should be amazing people who are still unfamiliar with Speckmann, even in spite of various TV reports to Herne!
Today,4.2.15 I was with Speckmann and unfortunately had no good experience. The salesman spoke to a colleague in the back and then came free without welcoming to me. I ordered fish back and heard the buyer's comment that it will take time. After about 8 minutes he came. The case was hard and leathery, the white content tasted nothing. I gave back almost all fish with a hint of the problem. As the answer I heard that the fish must be at all and for my taste one could not. I would have been happy about a small remoulade, but as a supplement there was a dry bread. Never again!!!!
There is no better curry sausage in Herne! The curry sausage still tastes to me, only the staff could really be a bit nicer and more motivated. As far as salads are concerned, it would be nice if there were some homemade things to be offered. The baked fish was once good at Speckmann, meanwhile he gets smaller and smaller,he is also very oily,satisfied,was not so early. The fries don't taste better and not worse than elsewhere. I also know Speckmann when they were still standing with a small car at the top of the old indoor swimming pool.Long time it was here, there were the fries still in the bag and were mega tasty.It was always full there and the staff super nice,naja,nowadays customer friendliness for many vendors is a foreign word!
