I made a reservation through Opentable and received a text while on my way to the restaurant from the owner stating that the restaurant was closed because they were in Spain. This has me questioning why I was still able to book through Opentable in the first place! View all feedback.
We made a reservation through 'Opentable' for a Saturday evening. We attempted to call the restaurant to confirm our booking on Thursday night but received no response. Upon arriving at the restaurant on Saturday at the scheduled time, we were surprised to find it closed, with no explanation provided on the door. We tried calling again, but once more, there was no answer. We have dined at 'Origin' before and were always impressed with the food and ambiance. However, we urge the restaurant to improve their communication and either stick to their opening hours or notify customers and 'Opentable' of any changes. This is not the first time this situation has occurred, as evidenced by other reviews. Luckily, we were able to find a nearby Italian restaurant, 'La Tratoria' in Helmsley market place, which went above and beyond to accommodate us.

Restaurant was closed with no notice on the door as to why. Not a great experience for a Saturday night as we then had to to try and find somewhere else to eat.
We made a reservation on OpenTable and drove 8 miles to the restaurant only to find out that it was closed for the weekend!
