Nicks Inn - Headingley
Nicks Inn
Description
Nick's Restaurant, a longtime favorite spot that has been cherished by many for decades, seems to be struggling to maintain its former glory in the face of modern influences. The quality of their burgers and fries has declined from exceptional to average or even somewhat below average, becoming more reminiscent of the standard fare found at major chains. While the toppings and buns are still good, the meat lacks its once juicy and flavorful punch, and the chili has lost its body and joy. Despite this, the service remains friendly, albeit sporadic, with servers who love interacting with customers. The restaurant maintains its old charm with familiar Nick's booths, now enclosed by plastic walls. For new patrons, Nick's offers the opportunity to start fresh memories at a place where locals have gathered for years.

A great stop for a big, hardy breakfast We arrived for a mid-morning feast and the place was packed Got a both and dug in for some good eats.
Diner atmosphere. Super friendly staff. Weekday lunch of Hamburger Steak. Very good though the fries were a little over done. Always consider stopping here.
