Menu
A complete menu of Storm from Harrogate featuring all 12 dishes and drinks can be found here on the menu.
Located in the picturesque Knaresborough, Storm Restaurant offers a blend of modern European cuisine and serene garden views. Guests have praised the dining room's spaciousness and the attentive service, especially during Sunday dinners, where generous portions and reasonable prices stand out. However, feedback regarding food quality has been inconsistent, with some dishes falling short, like lackluster seafood linguine and tough steak. Noise disturbances from staff duties in the early hours have also marred the experience for certain patrons. While the ambience and service excel, the restaurant is encouraged to refine its culinary offerings for a truly memorable dining experience.

Was Anonym at Storm a mag?
The restaurant has a bright and open atmosphere, with plenty of space to relax. The food is mostly good, but I recommend skipping the Yorkshire pudding. It seems they could benefit from a few more staff members; the wait to be seated was slow, and it took almost an hour from our arrival to have the first course served. The dining area is clean and airy, and the bathroom facilities are excellent. There is ample parkin... View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Storm:
Stopped in after a brief walk for a cocktail. I have to say this place is something special. Sarah the receptionist was very friendly and took time to chat with me while she made my drink. I admit I only came for one but the suggestions on what was on tap made me go ahead and try one of their beers. The black sheep was just a pleasure. In addition to their selections Sarah and Rebecca gave me suggestions on where to... View all feedback.
We had high hopes for this beautiful restaurant, but unfortunately, our experience did not meet our expectations. I ordered the seafood linguine, which tasted like canned tomatoes and rubbery fish - it was terrible. My husband had the steak with chips, but the steak was tough and the chips were undercooked, so he left half of his meal uneaten. We also ordered a bottle of white wine listed as £27 on the menu, but were charged £36 on our bill. After questioning this discrepancy, our bill was amended - thankfully, I caught the mistake. The service was excellent and the surroundings were beautiful, but the food was subpar. My linguine was priced at £22, but it was not worth the money. We prefer dining at the Bank House in Hathersage, where the linguine is amazing and overall, it offers a better dining experience for the same price. This review is meant as constructive criticism - we hope the restaurant will consider improving their food quality to match their amazing staff and lovely atmosphere.
I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. Despite booking ahead of time, we had several table options in a modern dining room. The Sunday roast was exceptional, offering delicious fare at a reasonable price, complete with generous servings of Yorkshire puddings and a well-selected wine list. While the service was a bit inconsistent, the quality of the food made up for it.
The breakfast and dinner at this restaurant were a great choice and very delicious. The portions were generous and everyone in our group agreed that the food was tasty.
The restaurant offers a diverse selection of high-quality dishes, which are served promptly and efficiently by cheerful staff. Check out the hotel review for more details!
