We placed a takeout order, and the food was ready when I arrived. My husband enjoyed the breaded tenderloin with fries, while I went for the appetizer sampler. Everything was absolutely delicious! I ordered breakfast for my family of four and waited 45 minutes for our food, but it never arrived. When I inquired about our order, the server seemed perplexed, as if we hadn't placed one at all. I won't be returning to this restaurant with my family. View all feedback.
The food is delicious. However, they should consider extending their hours on Saturdays.
I really enjoy the food and the service here. As someone who appreciates local restaurants, this one is definitely one of my favorites.
Everything is made from scratch, and the owner truly treats everyone like family. It's the best restaurant atmosphere I've encountered since leaving Missouri.
I truly dislike having to write this review, but I strive to be fair and objective. No matter how much I want to enjoy a place, I always aim to provide an honest assessment. Given the current COVID-19 situation, we are all more aware of a restaurant's commitment to cleanliness, social distancing, and following mask guidelines. Unfortunately, Mick's It Up Diner falls short in all these areas. There were hardly any masks in sight, either on the employees or the patrons. Additionally, the service left much to be desired. We ordered two meals, and I found the breaded tenderloin to be bland, tasteless, and significantly undercooked. While I understand that small businesses are facing challenges right now, even small efforts to improve would go a long way in encouraging us to return.
My husband and I enjoyed breakfast here for the first time this morning, and it certainly won't be our last! The waitress was friendly and fantastic. The biscuits and gravy were delicious, the potatoes and eggs were cooked perfectly, and the sausage patties were massive!
