We went to brunch for the first time today and enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Everything was very well prepared and very tasty. Coffee, tea and juices, water included. When we wanted to pay shortly before half past eleven, we were told that there would be a lunch buffet shortly. Okay in itself, but... often too few service staff (as the staff themselves say). The food is okay, but you can tell it 's convenience food (frozen, industrial). Currently disappointing: creamed asparagus with meatballs – hardly any asparagus, less, small, extremely soft-boiled potatoes, okay meatballs, and everything drowned in ready-made hollandaise sauce. You didn't really feel welcome, since we hadn't made a reservation, we were reluctant to get a table, even though there wasn't much going on in the Rix. The Ricklinger Schnitzel was very dry and you had to look for the onions. The fried egg with the fried potatoes was burnt. Unfortunately not recommended, but rather go to Amuri or Asian Cuisine, everything works there...
Rix is simply a cult favorite in Ricklingen. Always friendly, and the food is truly excellent. The prices are very fair, and the atmosphere is perfect. In the summer, there's outdoor seating.

Very delicious food. The staff is very friendly. I always enjoy the buffet and dinner or lunch
