Good: Very tasty food. Reasonable prices. Gargantuan drink glasses. Bad: Below average service. Chips and salsa costs money. About $4. Chips _definitely_ aren't worth 4$. I would eat here again.
The food is excellent and of high quality. Everything is prepared fresh to order. The service is consistently great as well.
Food and service were wonderful. I love Mexican cuisine and eat it often. I was surprised I found this little restaurant in such a small town. Tamales have always been who make it or break it element for me, their are fabulous and their beans?? Well, now I have to add this to make it or break it. They were, hands down, the BEST I've ever eaten. Great work, people!!!
Being here a few times and eating is always good and the staff is very nice and attentive to your needs. definitely recommend to eat here
**Update - June 17, 2022** We were really looking forward to this visit after hearing such great things. Unfortunately, it was a bit disappointing. Although the sign indicated that we should seat ourselves, we were cramped into a corner table. When I voiced my disappointment, I was told that was the only option available, as they were cleaning the other side. I asked for the manager, David, but he wasn’t around to offer any comfort. I wasn't happy sitting in the corner for a pricey lunch, so I had to drop my rating from a 5 to a 3. And with flies and gnats buzzing around, I have to say they’re lucky to get a 3. Estill doesn’t have many restaurant options, and I had always enjoyed this little place (hence the initial 4-star rating). Recently, it received a 5-star recommendation, which sometimes happens after a change in ownership or management. In this case, it was definitely for the better. My friend Cecil and I visited on Saturday night, and I saw someone order an enormous steak that looked like it came straight from Texas! I was on a diet, so I didn’t order it, but it was hard not to be tempted. I pointed it out to my server, who turned out to be the owner. No exaggeration—the steak was at least 24 ounces! I had to convince Cecil to share it with me, and for just $20, it was incredible! Once again, the service and food were fantastic. I made sure to ask about David, the owner, and his pride in his restaurant really showed. I wouldn’t just recommend stopping by if you're passing through Estill; it's worth the detour! They also serve a fantastic lunch buffet. This place truly deserves a positive review. The photo below is from the front of the restaurant, featuring owner and manager David inside.
