I have no complaint about the food itself, the decor or the ambience, but I do have several issues with the restaurant. First, the description of the food on the menu was not accurate enough, leading to us ordering three dishes that were too similar; second, despite the menu warning that dishes would come out in a random order, we had too long to wait between the first and last, with a particularly big gap before the... The restaurant has a fantastic variety of wines and tasty dishes. It was unfortunate that there was only one waiter, but he gave fantastic service. Despite advertising gluten-free options, they were not actually available. In general, the restaurant is overrated.
The food at this restaurant is top-notch and the customer service is fantastic. We had a great experience overall. We weren't sure what to expect, but we had a delicious meal with high-quality ingredients and great flavor combinations. The lobster crab ravioli and smoked sausage casserole were particularly standout dishes. We can't wait to come back. Our server was friendly and attentive without being too overbearing, which really enhanced the overall experience.
The food at this restaurant was mediocre and way too expensive. The portions were small and we were let down by the high prices. We spent £91 for three people, not including drinks, desserts, or coffee, and an extra £10 for service charge. We were hoping for a top-notch dining experience for that kind of money.
Overpriced and under delivered. Not child friendly in any way. Tapas dishes don't work together effectively they are medium size main meals they con you in to buying several of. The concept does not work and it's grossly over priced.
Unfortunately we felt our evening fell short of our expectations. After arriving and ordering our drinks we were told the credit card machine was out of order and they could only accept cash. We were given the first round on the house as an apology which we were grateful for. Sadly though this was the beginning of a 'not ' outstanding evening. While we appreciate it states due to the food being freshly prepared the dishes will arrive at different times we had not expected the service and food to arrive so sporadically. At one point two of us were eating while the other four people in our party watched on eagerly and waited I felt very patiently. We also had to ask again for our drinks that we had ordered. The food was of an extremely high quality but sadly the service and the way the food is served really put us all off returning. On the many occasions we 've eaten tapas we have never known a wait between dishes like we experienced here. If it had just been two of us maybe the situation may have been different, but for a group of six we felt it really didn 't work. It was also commented on how the ambience could have been improved with some mood music to match the surroundings as it did seem to be missing something. So overall a disappointing night out.
