Was Anonym at Mezza Lebanese Kitchen a mag?
I'll be honest and say I've only ever eaten their donair poutine. Still, the donair meat is excellent (so if you like donair meat, you'll likely love whatever meal they use it on) and for the price, you get a very decent ammount of food, and that reusable plastic tray is a always a plus (it's not a tray I'd keeo for years, but it's still reusable if you plan on using it a couple more times)Last time I went there was... What Anonym dislikes about Mezza Lebanese Kitchen:
Had two chicken shawarma wraps tonight. Chicken was very dry and maybe overdone; could be out too long in trays? Staff person literally threw them together really fast = no care taken. Will try other Lebanese on next pass. View all feedback.
There is simply not enough consistency now that it has been taken over by Mezza. Especially the Venus at Halifax Shopping centre. You can have a chicken Shawarma there and the garlic sauce does not taste the same as at the other locations. And let's...More
On work break saw this place. Nice variety on the menu but the pizza tasted like it had been sitting for a while. The crust was dry and it was hard to bite into. I've had better at other places
I ordered delivery from here tonight. First off I will admit my mistake, I accidentally checked Take Out instead of Delivery so about 10 minutes after the order was supposed to arrive the restaurant called telling me that the pizza was ready and getting cold. I told them it was supposed to be for delivery and they said I had to wait 45-60 minutes if I want it delivered, ok my fault I can wait. Things got a littler more frustrating after that. When you order online it asks you for your contact information and address for delivery. After being told I had to wait for delivery they called back and asked for my contact information. Ok sure you should have it but whatever. Also when you order online you have the option to pay with cash or credit card (no debit), if you choose credit card it also asks if you want to adjust the total with a tip. I assumed that if you are putting your CC information in a delivery service online then you won't have to actually run a card when the food arrives. This as it turns out is not the case, the delivery person gives me the total of the bill, which already included the tip i manually added via the online ordering, and of course the mobile machine prompts you for a trip anyway. I did not double tip and the deliver person seemed pissed about it, he just took his copy and left, no thanks have a good night or anything. I asked the delivery person why he needed the card if I had already put in the CC info via the website but he just said I need to run the card...I find this really sketchy and I'll be checking my CC bill when it comes due to see if I was double charged. The restaurant should have no use for your credit card information in advance if they are just going to make you run it manually when they arrive. As far as the food was concerned we had ordered a large chicken shawarma pizza and some drinks, I had two pieces of pizza and I was done. It wasn't bad per say but it wasn't great either, certainly no better then what most other pizza places are offering in the city. I can't say I'd ever order from here again, the meh food combined with the horrible online ordering procedure and rude staff is a deal breaker for me.
Wasn't my lucky day today at Mezza. Meat was barely warm and tasteless. Salad was clearly stale even though I was definitely a first customer for the day. Never had shawarma that bland and unexciting. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
Very poor customer service. Multiple items miss from order. When I called to have the items sent the restaurant refused and said I had to contact door dash. Door dash then made me cancel my order and re order. Horrible service!!! Would not recommend! Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Service: Delivery Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$80–90
