Our semi private ‘Frolic Room’ is perfect for group dinners or a quiet date night. Watch the chefs work their magic at the kitchen counter while enjoying European favourites with a unique twist. Our extensive wine list features classics and unique gems from around the world or local vineyards, along with hand crafted cocktails and European bottled beer. What User dislikes about Eliot & Vine:
Two of us had the rib eye steak and it was tough and chewy. The carrots were a little undercooked, as well. The mussels and brussel sprouts were delicious. We enjoyed the quiet room to ourselves. View all feedback.
Lovely meal. The tuna tartare gnocchi are excellent! The layout of the room and bar are cozy and intimate.
Favorite Friday weekend opener place to go. Recommend for friends and couples wanting to wind down after a long work week.
Wow!!! Go to Eliot Vine! Casual yet comfortable but seriously go for the amazing food (menu) and staff! It will all have you coming back for more. Let loose and have some fun! The next time I go will be on a Thursday for live music jazz night!. They have a unique menu from roast hen to steak; from lobster risotto to sword fish; from lamb to haddock and plenty more like their infamous pork belly start. I had it and I don't think I'll be able to order anything else for a start even if I wanted to! Where else can you wear your jeans but have edible flowers in your dish to make your meal look beautiful? It's definitely an experience you have to have.
There are many upscale restaurants in rural areas that try to emulate upscale urban dining, but often fall short. However, Eliot Vine is an exception. The food is simple and delicious, with dishes like steak, chicken, and mussel starters that are all excellent. The atmosphere reminds me of trendy spots on Bleecker and Broadway or along the Cote d'Azur. While many places downtown can be pretentious, Eliot Vine delivers high-quality dining in a relaxed setting. One of the highlights for us was the soft golden lighting, a refreshing change from the harsh blue lights of other restaurants or the dark ambiance of faux chic dining establishments.
