Halifax has its charms, but finding food with bold flavour and spice can be a challenge. That’s why discovering Aster Café felt like such a win. We’ve had Ethiopian food on our list for ages back in Toronto, but somehow never got around to it. Here, it finally happened—and it hit the spot. The owners were incredibly welcoming, the service warm, and the food rich with spice and soul. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
