Was Becky Clark at Crumb a mag?
The sandwiches are excellent, though I’m uncertain if they all justify their price. My husband and I visited on a frigid day and tried the El Jefe and the Brooklyn Way. What Andrew Mascieri dislikes about Crumb:
Will not return. Got the Hangover sandwich (it comes on focaia, they don’t tell you this). It was inedible because it was INCREDIBLY SALTY. It’s like they poured salt all over the sandwich. The French toast sticks tasted really greasy like they were deep fried and COVERED in cinnamon sugar (another thing they don’t tell you). The French toast sticks were also inedible. Really bad food, threw it all away. View all feedback.
Wow! This restaurant has excellent bread and high-quality sandwiches. I will definitely be coming back here multiple times.
Wow! From the freshly baked breads to the top-notch sandwiches, this place really knows how to do it right. I will definitely be coming back.
Amazing! This restaurant excels in everything from their freshly baked bread to their top-notch sandwiches. I will definitely be coming back.
The sandwiches are excellent, though I’m uncertain if they all justify their price. My husband and I visited on a frigid day and tried the El Jefe and the Brooklyn Way. The Brooklyn Way was simply outstanding. I adored the focaccia, and the meat was cooked to perfection! However, the El Jefe could use more meat and toppings; there was an imbalance between the bread and the filling. The sandwich portions are just right for one person. We also tried the tomato soup, which my husband enjoyed, but I personally didn't care for it because I’m not a fan of fennel, so that’s on me. Overall, while I loved the Brooklyn Way, I’m unsure if we would return because of the value.
