Menu

Dhaanya's Kitchen, while known as a local option for Indian cuisine, has garnered mixed reviews recently. Some patrons have praised their traditional dishes, particularly the lamb and bhuna, highlighting the generous portions and decent flavors. However, others have faced disappointing experiences, citing tough meat, overly sweet curries, and missing items in their orders. Service inconsistencies, such as late deliveries and unresponsive staff, further detract from the overall experience. Despite its flaws, some diners appreciate the convenience and reasonable prices, making it a go-to for casual curry cravings, though expectations should be tempered.

I was surprised to see the reviews here as it is very different from the overall reviews from Just Eat. Curry was delicious. Not greasy and excellent quality. Definitely will be back. Best takeaway curry in a long time! View all feedback.
What Mucho M dislikes about Dhaanya:
This is easily the worst restaurant I have ever been to. I would rather eat paper than their food. Save yourself time and money and avoid this place at all costs. View all feedback.
Delivery was right on time. (estimated time was 60 minutes though, so... still slow, but expected) They sent an entire carton of juice! (Added a star) The curry itself is fine. You can definitely taste added sugar as previous reviews mentioned. The saag is much too sweet. It takes away from the flavor. It has a lovely flavor though, so I 'm sorry it 's so sweetened. The lamb tikka is just the right amount of spicy for me, which is fantastic, though the website said it would be mild and this might be a bit too much for someone expecting the typical bland flavor of mild I would say this is more on the medium side. The saag has no heat. It 's a good balance, but it would be even better without the sugar. I 've never heard of anyone adding straight up sugar to curry. If they continue to do so, I hope they use less. They did send huge portions, though, so you get your money 's worth. No skimping (as seen with the entire carton or mango juice I recieved) All in all not too bad. Just don 't expect the best curry you 've ever tasted.

I used to always look forward to my curry and naan bread at this restaurant. However, recently, both have changed. The lamb madras was different and the meat was tough. The naan bread was also different, lacking taste and not the usual texture. I usually order two naans but only received one this time (which was actually a good thing). I won't be ordering from here again as I prefer to get good quality for my money.
