Simone is one of the hidden gems in Guthrie. I really should explore more of their menu, but it's hard to resist the outstanding value and flavors of the biscuit flour dish. I dine at Barbes almost every Saturday and have never experienced bad food or service. The portions are generous, the meals are always served hot, and the prices are reasonable. I recommend trying the chicken fried steak, corn, and potatoes.
My wife and I drove from DFW to visit family in Kansas and stopped here for breakfast. It was truly the best food I've ever had.
I was thoroughly impressed with the food at this restaurant. My husband and I both agree that they make the best burgers we have ever tasted. We've been there about a dozen times, and we've never had a complaint, except for the fact that during lunchtime, it gets so busy that the poor waitress is left to handle it all by herself.
