Simone is one of the hidden gems in Guthrie. I really should explore more of their menu, but it's hard to resist the outstanding value and flavors of the biscuit flour dish. Food was excellent. We had French toast and their biscuit break out. Waitress was nice. We didn't wait too long for food, even though they were a little busy. Would go again when in town.
We live in the area and decided to give the new cafe a try for breakfast. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. While some places can ruin a meal, this cafe really delivers. We will definitely be back!
This is a quaint and welcoming little home-town cafe. The service is excellent, and the food delicious, fresh and hot.
I dine at Barbes almost every Saturday and have never experienced bad food or service. The portions are generous, the meals are always served hot, and the prices are reasonable. I recommend trying the chicken fried steak, corn, and potatoes.
Pros: Food is top notch. I didn't expect the food to be as good as it was. But I learned don't judge a book by it's cover. You also can't beat the portion size. If you leave here hungry it's your fault. Prices are extremely reasonable.
