I love the atmosphere here absolutely. a little rustic and bohemian, which gives a warm, relaxing, welcoming atmosphere. eating is nice, I usually baked sweet potato with hummus balsamico wobble. the vegan options are limited tho, unless they go only for cake! a few more lunch options and this place would get more visit from me. Whenever I visit my family in Grimsby, I always make sure to stop by Riverhead for a coffee and cake. Whether it's at their Grimsby or Cleethorpes location, their vegan cakes are absolutely amazing. My favorite is the lemon cake. Riverhead is always my top choice for brunch, as I often find it difficult to get a simple toast without butter at other places in Grimby/Cleethorpes.
I recently visited this restaurant with my friends and had a wonderful time. It is a cozy little café with a charming atmosphere. I tried the vegan club sandwich that was recommended to me and it was absolutely delicious. I would definitely return and recommend this place to others. The staff were also extremely friendly and attentive.
