This is a lovely spot with a comfortable and elegant atmosphere. However, we found the coffee to be quite disappointing. If you appreciate "dark roast" (almost burnt with most flavors diminished), this place might be for you. Otherwise, I would recommend looking elsewhere. Wonderful bar-café combo, fox paw is a wonderful drink if you enjoy chocolate covered orange peel. Summer squishy is also pretty grand, light and tropical on the front palette with the tiniest hunt of hops, I think, on the back Good music, really nice service, Top their hip lounge in the Madison area.
The owner, Dan Podell, is generally a nice guy, but he’s also dishonest and has a violent and delusional temper. Otherwise, it’s great place. The rest of the staff is top-notch, the best.
This place is the absolute best. Come and be yourself. Coffee is great and the atmosphere is warm and mellow.
This has been my favorite coffee cafe find so far! The drinks are wonderful, the staff is friendly, and the environment is chill and the hours are reasonable!
