I had a bad experience the first time, but decided to give this place another chance. Unfortunately, it was even worse. The chips were double-cooked and left a greasy residue in my mouth, which suggests they don't clean their oil regularly. I won't be returning; this isn't a good fish and chip shop at all. You know that raw potato taste when chips aren't cooked? Yeah, that's what I had here. Come on... ALL the big chips weren't cooked properly! And there's a rank fishy taste on them. I'm only in the area occasionally for work. I'll get a sandwich from Sainsburys next time. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner
Just received a box of slop from this chippy. Usually we go to Gourock for our tea but decided to order from somewhere different. When opened the box half the fish was stuck to the lid. It was soggy to the point of disgusting and the stuff stuck to the lid our dog got. This is a photo of the remainder which was then binned. What's going on guys? Poor poor meal Meal type: Dinner
